We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee and enhance our quality management systems for our offshore wind manufacturing facility in Kaohsiung. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in quality management, particularly within the HVAC cables industry, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system.
- Define and monitor quality indicators to ensure product excellence and compliance.
Manufacturing Process Control:
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Establish measurement methods and standards to ensure product consistency and reliability.
Inspection and Testing:
- Oversee raw material intake, in-process inspections, product sampling, and routine inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Project Quality Management:
- Manage quality aspects of projects, ensuring all deliverables meet specified quality criteria.
Non-Conformance Management:
- Address and resolve issues related to non-conforming products, raw materials, and customer complaints.
- Conduct root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
Collaboration with R&D:
- Work closely with the Research & Development team to support research, inspections, and the development of new materials.
Instrument and Equipment Management:
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of key instruments, measuring tools, and production equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and testing HVAC cables, with a proven track record in quality assurance and control.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills for business interactions.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in team management, with a minimum of supervisory roles.
