Position Overview: As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that drive efficiency, reliability, and performance. You will work in a collaborative environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our automation infrastructure and contribute to the success of our organization.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions, with an emphasis onPLC programming, including but not limited to:
- Programming and configuring PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
- Developing ladder logic, HMI/SCADA interfaces, and other control systems.
- Integrating PLC systems with other automation components.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather automation requirements, define project scopes, and create technical specifications.
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks, with a focus on PLC control, to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, ensuring continuous system reliability.
- Conduct regular system performance evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior automation engineers as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation, especially in PLC programming.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, with a minimum of 3+ in a senior or lead role, and a strong background in PLC programming.
- Strong proficiency in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on PLC programming languages such as ladder logic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of designing effective automation solutions, particularly for PLC-based systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
