We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead in originating, acquiring, and managing large-scale photovoltaic projects. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial acquisition to successful operation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, acquire, and oversee the development of large-scale photovoltaic projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, and provide regular reports and consultations to internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate key project terms with external project developers, landowners, agents, and brokers.
- Secure local permits, authorizations, and cooperation agreements from relevant stakeholders, including ministries, councils, prefectures, municipal governments, neighborhood associations, neighboring residents, or landowners as required.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Exceptional communication skills, both with external stakeholders (e.g., landowners, local city councils, utilities, Bureau of Energy) and internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Construction, Finance).
- Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements, including application deadlines and contract negotiations.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and agreements related to government, utilities, local permits, and land.
- Strong commitment to project success and responsibility.
- Experience in the solar industry is a must.
- Proficiency in basic software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proficiency in English, encompassing reading, writing, and verbal communication.
