Role Responsibilities:
In this key role, you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of systems design and effectively communicating design concepts through sketches and renderings.
- Applying your expertise in engineering theories and techniques, while adapting and modifying standard practices as necessary.
- Managing several concurrent projects as a phase and/or task manager, showcasing your ability to handle multiple responsibilities with precision.
- Cultivating strong relationships with the design team, becoming their trusted advisor through timely responses and effective communication.
- Understanding contract terms and scope of service, ensuring that projects are executed in line with agreed-upon parameters.
Requirements:
To excel in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure highly preferred.
Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP design projects.
Extensive knowledge of building codes and standards, engineering drafting standards, and Electrical engineering best practices.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to create detailed and accurate electrical drawings.
Familiarity with the construction process and the interpretation of construction drawings, enabling you to integrate seamlessly with the project team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate, identify, and provide effective solutions to technical challenges.
Experience in preparing technical reports for direct delivery to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
Prior experience working at an MEP Design Firm will be considered a significant advantage.
