Position Summary: As a Senior Engineering Consultant, you will be a key member of our geotechnical team, providing expert advice and solutions to our clients. You will lead and manage geotechnical investigations, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the growth and success of our geotechnical practice in San Antonio.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects, from initial proposal to final delivery, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
- Provide senior-level oversight to project teams, guiding them through complex geotechnical challenges.
Technical Consultation:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in geotechnical engineering, offering strategic guidance and solutions to clients.
- Conduct geotechnical analyses, prepare reports, and make recommendations based on findings.
Client Interaction:
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored geotechnical solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of our geotechnical consulting services in the San Antonio region.
- Participate in marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical support and fostering their professional development.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the geotechnical team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering consulting.
- Proven track record of successfully managing geotechnical projects.
- Strong technical expertise in geotechnical analyses and design.
