Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a field related to Environmental Studies or Construction, such as Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering. The specific degree requirements may vary for each position.
- Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in carrying out the described responsibilities and duties.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to acquire one is necessary.
- Proficiency in project management, organization, cost tracking, technical writing, and verbal communication is essential.
- Familiarity with appropriate methodologies for sampling groundwater, surface water, soil, and sediment at CERCLA and RCRA sites is crucial.
- Strong skills in data analysis and the ability to interpret data are required.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, including MS Project, is expected.
- For specific engineering roles, candidates should demonstrate expertise in designing and executing remediation and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing, coordinating, and executing environmental field investigations and remediation initiatives in hazardous waste locations across both New England and the entire nation.
- Providing supervision and support for environmental and engineering assignments, which encompass the assessment and remediation of impacted soil, sediment, and groundwater.
- Crafting technical proposals and estimating costs.
- Effectively managing project timelines and financial budgets.
- Engaging with clients and overseeing field teams.
- Analyzing data and interpreting both field and analytical information.
- Implementing quality control procedures for data.
- Evaluating and composing technical reports.
