They are seeking a senior level structural engineer for their Miami office to take a hands-on role on a number of technically challenging forensic engineering projects relating to extreme weather, large/complex losses, construction and design defects, and geological faults.
Responsibilities
- Conducting forensic investigations to diagnose building performance issues
- Analysing failures to determine root cause and extent of damages
- Developing repair and rehabilitation designs for damaged structures
- Providing expert opinions and testimony
- Mentoring junior engineers and technicians
- Building and maintaining client relationships
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
- PE license holder in Florida
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in providing litigation support
