We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Seattle office and contribute to our continued success. At this employee-owned firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, from groundwater assessment and remediation to environmental impact assessments. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping our clients make informed decisions to protect and manage their water resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hydrogeological projects, from initial scoping to final deliverables.
- Conduct hydrogeological investigations, including groundwater monitoring, data analysis, and modeling.
- Perform site assessments and feasibility studies related to groundwater resources and contamination.
- Design and oversee groundwater remediation systems.
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Hydrogeology or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in hydrogeological consulting.
- Professional Geologist (PG), LHG, or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in hydrogeological modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, Visual MODFLOW, or equivalent).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and knowledge of environmental regulations.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
