My client are looking to solidify their position in Minneapolis. To do this they are looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer who can manage the P&L for the region. This role has a fantastic progression path to lead an already established office which is looking to double in size within the next 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Sales, promotion and technical support to owners, contractors, & consultants in the Geotechnical Contracting Market.
- Successfully implement engineering/bid strategies to close business.
- Generate sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports.
- Development of project opportunities.
- Communicate local competitive activities and development of pricing strategies with VP of sales on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in project meetings and site activities at all project stages.
- Review of design submittals and field reports.
- Engineering support and trouble-shooting during field construction.
Education/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years Geotechnical/Ground Improvement Contracting experience
- Experience in Geotechnical sales preferred
- Professional Engineering License in MN or WI
- BS in Civil Engineering or similar required - MS in Geotechnical engineering or Civil Engineering preferred.
