One of the leading Solar IPP Developers in the North East is looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager. They have an incredibly strong financial backing and are looking to hit 300MW yearly moving forward. They typically focus on Commercial Solar projects between 1-10MW with portfolios as large as 75-100MW. This position is going to be very senior in the team and they need someone who has extensive Solar and Mentoring experience!
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- You will be working with structuring desk as the lead technical point of contact for the team
- Bridging the gap between engineering and construction by acting as the lead liaison between the two groups
- Site Evaluations
- Evaluating and creating production and construction estimates
- Creating and updating the budget for each individual project
- Create and continuously update the project schedule
- Lead all of the communication with the Utilities for interconnection and energization
- Create scope of work
- Bid on projects and sub contractors
- Creating and implementing agreements and address any change orders
- General coordination from permitting to PTO and commissioning
Senior Project Manager General Requirements:
- Four year college degree is preferred in either construction management or engineering
- A minimum of 10 years working in the construction industry
- AT-LEAST 5 of those years should involve C&I Solar projects or engineering
- NABCEP certified is preferred
- A strong understanding of civil, structural, low voltage and medium voltage subject matter
- Solid background in OSHA safety procedures and national electric codes
