A Mid-Western based Architecture firm is seeking a Senior Project Manger to help head up the firm's K-12 focused portfolio. This position has tremendous growth potential, with the opportunity to become Principal.
Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful planning and execution of K-12 and higher educational projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to project closeout, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborating with our talented design team to translate client visions into innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing educational spaces.
- Overseeing project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure all aspects of the project align with design, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide regular project updates.
- Implementing sustainable and environmentally responsible design practices.
- Navigating and ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Actively mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Architectural license required
- A minimum of 8 years of industry experience
- K-12 experience required
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
