Further, they also work across building enclosures, paying close attention to issues of performance, aesthetics, schedule, and cost.
Their highly experienced team take projects from initial investigation of a structural or building enclosure failure through to design solution phase. It is also common for projects to be taken to trial, as such, this team of experts are well versed in providing expert witness testimony.

My client is now seeking a qualified Senior Structural Engineer to bring their technical expertise, but also be ready and prepared to grow. They are looking for someone with a passion for the work and the ambition to climb the ladder in the firm. The successful candidate will perform: structural analysis/design of buildings as well as building envelope consulting, faรงade, roofing and waterproofing, expert witness and structural forensics.
Position responsibilities:
- Managing technical production and contractual aspects of multiple forensic and restoration projects.
- Working as second in command to the technical lead, managing projects and being responsible for a cohort of more junior engineers.
- Providing both written and verbal reports to tight deadlines regarding multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working across building enclosure consulting, repair, waterproofing and roofing of a range of buildings, exterior walls, restoration and testing/inspection.
Ideal candidates exhibit the following attributes and background:
- Bachelors or Master's degree from accredited institution with a focus in an engineering or architectural discipline.
- PE or SE License / Registered Architect.
- 7-10 years experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the forensic structural market.
- Efficient in AutoCAD, Revit and/or other 3D modeling software.
- Ability to work successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Compensation and benefits:
- $105-140,000 USD, depending on experience.
