We are seeking a Senior Level Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer lto support our vision. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.
Responsibilities
Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of various sizes
Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects
Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.
Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
10+ years of water project experience
Experience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Kansas / Missouri or the ability to obtain within six months
Must have demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
Work well in a team environment
Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering
Design and construction phase experience
