Our Florida Water Group is seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager in Tampa, FL in planning, design, operations, and management on various water/wastewater, and/or stormwater projects
Your Role will include but is not limited to:
- Participating in and leading project teams in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure improvements
- Coordinating work activities by various technical staff and consultants including developing and implementing the study and design standards for consultants to follow, leading progress meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, tracking project schedules, and budgets
- Coordinating work activities and communicating with various municipalities and governmental regulating agencies
- Oversee construction contract management and observation services
- Preparation of reports and permit applications regarding water wastewater
- Supervise and mentor entry-level engineers
- Demonstrate professional technical writing and verbal skills
- Lead the planning, evaluation, and selection of preferred alternatives
- Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS is preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the municipal engineering market, focusing on the design of municipal water/wastewater, and/or stormwater improvements
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida required
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate and direct the development of large projects and pursuits with complex features
- Ability to oversee the preparation of key technical deliverables
