As a Senior Water Treatment Engineer at our client, you will play a pivotal role in leading their water treatment projects in the Georgia area. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers and experts to design, implement, and optimize water treatment systems for a variety of clients, including municipalities, industrial facilities, and commercial enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and engineering of water treatment systems, including treatment plants, distribution systems, and wastewater facilities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water treatment engineering.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection, and biological treatment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and modeling tools.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local and state water regulations and permitting processes.
