Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. As a leading developer and investor of renewable energy assets across Asia, this company is committed to delivering first-class renewable projects while integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance considerations into our value-creation process. The primary focus of this role will be on developing and expanding its presence in the Asian markets, with an emphasis on Taiwan and Vietnam.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on the renewable energy market landscape in Asia, with a specific focus on Taiwan and Vietnam. Identify potential solar and onshore wind opportunities for investment and development.
Business Strategy: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute business strategies that align with the company's vision of becoming the leading renewables development and investment platform in Asia.
New Business Opportunities: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances that complement growth objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, regulatory bodies, potential investors, and industry partners.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Lead negotiations for project acquisitions, partnerships, and other investment opportunities, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for company.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, risk valuation, and due diligence on potential projects, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Investment Memo and Reporting: Prepare investment memos and presentations to senior management, highlighting the merits of proposed deals and supporting strategic decision-making.
Project Management Support: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the successful execution and implementation of acquired projects, offering ongoing support as required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields from reputable universities.
Proven experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy or power generation sector.
Successful track record in M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Transaction Service sector as a team member.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to independently assess potential investment opportunities.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English (compulsory) to effectively engage with international stakeholders.
