Project Manager
Tokyo
A prestigious Renewable Energy firm with more than 15 offices and 190 assets across Asia Pacific region is looking for a Project Manager to be based in Tokyo. You will be given the authority to oversee all the renewable power plant constructions and execute strategic plan to improve current project management process.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
- Manage overall schedule of power plant constructions to make sure all the construction works are completed before expected deadlines
- Develop and execute strategic plan to obtain better business results including cost reduction, vendor selection and management, negotiation to shorten construction time
- Identify and analyse problems and propose effective solutions for the problems to ensure no delay in construction schedule
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationship including contractor management, new supplier selection, networking with relative authorities
- Ensure each investment is optimised and the best cost-quality-performance option is developed and implemented
- Ensure construction works are properly conducted according to Company's policies and security guidelines
Job Requirements of a Project Manager:
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Experience in an operation leadership role in power plant construction or infrastructure construction management
- Working experience in overseas or multinational environment is welcomed
- Project management experience in solar/wind/biomass power business from Japanese notable trading or construction companies are considered as plus.
- Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Japanese is critical.
