Position Overview:
As a Senior Control Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning complex control systems for industrial automation projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in PLC/HMI programming, system integration, and troubleshooting of automation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of industrial control platforms and a proven track record of leading successful automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Integrate control systems with existing or new plant equipment and processes.
Lead project management efforts, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Provide technical support for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Create detailed documentation, including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance control system designs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) and HMI/SCADA development.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control networks, and instrumentation.
Experience with system integration, including hardware setup, wiring, and networking.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a system integrator environment is a plus.
