Position Overview: As a Senior Fire Protection & Plumbing Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of fire protection and plumbing systems for various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with codes and standards while maintaining a focus on innovation and sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and engineering of fire protection and plumbing systems for a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement system designs, ensuring compliance with local and national codes.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
- Review and approve plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Assist in the development of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to fire protection and plumbing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
