Role Overview:
You will have knowledge in the behaviour of structural systems and their components for use in restoration engineering on different structures such as residential, commercial, industrial facilities, and institutional. You will be working on different materials such as concrete, masonry, steel, terracotta and wood.
Responsibilities & Duties Include:
- In these position the qualified consultant will collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to provide engineering solutions on building restoration related projects including repair and renovation for a variety of structures ranging from hospital complexes, parking garages, and condominiums.
- You must have a strong technical background, desire to work on challenging projects, ability to communicate well with key stakeholders and report writing skills.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program required.
- Minimum 4 years Structural Engineering experience in design or other backgrounds that promotes an understanding of structural behaviour.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Licensed Structural Engineer. Multiple state registrations (or ability to obtain) a plus
- Knowledge and experience of Structural Engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of multiple types of construction, a plus.
- Field experience.
