This role will be a Director-level role which will over see all aspects of multimodal road safety.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or similar
-10+ years of experience in the transportation industry with a great understanding of safety practices and multimodal/transportation safety
-5+ years serving in a Project Management role
-3+ years of leadership experience managing a team
-Knowledge of multimodal transportation with experience in transportation related safety research
Desired skills and experience:
-AICP or PE is a plus
-Knowledge of analytical tools and systemic safety analysis (crash trees, systemic safety analysis, safety performance functions, statistical analysis, reviewing analysis outputs)
-Strong familiarity with roadway design and engineering practices
-Developing State Highway Safety Plans and experience in transportation-related safety research.
