Qualifications:
- PE Required
- 5+ years traffic engineering experience
- Knowledge of MicroStation, HCS, Synchro, Vissim
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design traffic engineering projects, creating traffic studies, signal timing plans, operations assessments, microsimulation models, and technical reports are all part of the job description.
- Creates project plans and drawings for a variety of projects, such as intersection upgrades and traffic signal design
- Responsible for planning and collaborating on technical activities on assigned projects and managing project budget and schedule
- Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer
- Performs research, gathers traffic data for studies, creates calculations, and conducts transportation analyses
