A recognizable firm in North Carolina is looking for a Traffic Practice Director to sit out of their Raleigh or Charlotte office. This person will have autonomy to run the practice while leading Project Managers and younger engineers.
- Establish vision for the Traffic Practice of the firm
- Identify new clients and projects, while maintaining current clients and projects
- Experience managing clients and relationships with both public and private sector clients
- Business development and marketing experience writing proposals and budgets
- Makes decisions on key hires within the traffic practice
- Meets with the traffic engineering team on agendas and current projects
- Maintain effective and active working relationships with others in the firm
- Manage major traffic/transportation projects
- Bachelor's degree required
- PE strongly preferred
- 15+ years of experience
