They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to join their team and lead construction projects in the auto dealership sector across Texas.
Job Description:
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the construction of auto dealerships from start to finish. You will travel extensively to different project sites statewide, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in delivering successful auto dealership construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Manage all aspects of auto dealership construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Site Supervision: Provide on-site leadership, coordination, and supervision of construction activities, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction work adheres to the highest quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
Schedule Adherence: Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Cost Control: Manage project budgets and control costs effectively to maximize project profitability.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Travel: Be willing to travel extensively to project sites across Texas as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in auto dealership construction or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required.
