As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travelling Superintendent to join their team.
As a Travelling Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of restaurant projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant construction, excellent leadership skills, and a willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
Site Management: Manage and oversee all aspects of restaurant construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.
Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to guarantee that workmanship and materials meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to timelines. Proactively address any delays or challenges that may arise during construction.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and reports.
Safety Compliance: Enforce and uphold strict safety standards on construction sites, ensuring all team members and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to project sites, including overnight stays as required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant, c-store, grocery, or tenant build out construction with a proven track record of successful project management.
Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage construction teams effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to address challenges efficiently.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required by project locations.
Safety: Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
