Summary:
A local general contractor in Maryland is looking for a Utility Project Manager to support their growing backlog. This company is well established and regarded throughout the area and has a history of excellence.
Their teams are growing and the Utility Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing 5-6 jobs at a time. You will be responsible for your own financing, so you must have a very strong understanding of budgeting, billing, labor and equipment costs, RFIs and submittals.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- All aspects related to the billing and budgeting of a project
- Engaging directly with clients and utility owners to develop project scopes, form agreements, and develop project resource & personnel plans
- Ensuring project schedules are met and are in compliance with federal state and local laws and regulations.
- Responsible for supporting & managing a team of utility engineers and coordinators as needed to complete projects to client satisfaction and contract requirements
The Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Experience with the financial of projects up to $5M
- 2+ years of experience
- An attitude of responsibility and accountability and
