This leading engineering company is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance water quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and manage water/wastewater projects from conception to completion, meeting scope, schedule, and budget targets.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.
- Perform technical analysis, design, and review of project documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct hydraulic and water quality modelling as needed.
- Identify and address project risks and challenges proactively.
- Promote safety and environmental stewardship on projects.
- Mentor and support junior staff members.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering and project management.
- Proficient in hydraulic analysis, water quality modelling, and relevant design software.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in business development and client management is advantageous.
