Water Infrastructure Team Lead
We are seeking a Water Infrastructure Team Leader in Kansas City, MO to build and maintain a portfolio of profitable water / wastewater projects in support of Missouri Water Services Team. This senior leadership position provides the opportunity for someone to grow their own team and business portfolio, with autonomy to focus on the growth of revenues and production for a set of clients of their choosing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and manage a variety of projects
- Assemble, develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team
- Prepare scope-of-services and level-of-effort estimates for contract proposals
- Lead and manage team for successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule
- Execute planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Develop, capture, and maintain workload for the team throughout Missouri, by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients
- Develop and maintain a healthy network of clients throughout Missouri
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri or Kansas
- 8 or more years of similar experience in the water/wastewater utilities market with a focus on linear assets, storage, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- 5 or more years of project management experience
- Working knowledge of presentation software such as MS PowerPoint or Keynote
- Strong communication skills and public speaking ability
The ideal candidate will have strong team leadership abilities, be proficient in project management, have a working knowledge of presentation software, and have strong communication skills.
