Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse teams in the successful execution of medium to large-scale water infrastructure planning, design, and/or program management, with a focus on wastewater and recycled water systems.
- Manage client services with a commitment to outstanding project delivery, fostering existing client relationships, and identifying future business opportunities.
- Conduct project workshops, guide alternatives analysis evaluation, and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Drive strategic initiatives in the wastewater and recycled water sector, fostering long-term client relationships through premarketing, proposal development, and interview preparation.
- Mentor entry-level professionals and actively support recruitment and growth within the wastewater practice.
- Oversee projects related to water, wastewater, and recycled water planning, design, and/or program management, including scope, budget, and schedule development and oversight.
- Prepare high-quality written work products, potentially including masterplans, technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with teams to leverage strengths and identify opportunities for skill enhancement within the staff/company.
- Travel as needed throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
- P.E. registration in California or the ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
- Proficient in wastewater process modeling software programs (e.g., BioWin,GPS-X, etc.)
- Knowledge of wastewater industry standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering collaborative and cost-effective project performance in wastewater and/or recycled water facilities, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Ability to understand and define project goals and requirements.
- Collaborative mindset with a strong inclination toward teamwork, learning, and teaching.
- Active participation in relevant professional associations with knowledge of the latest industry treatment trends.
- Openness to innovation and a commitment to solving complex project/client challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in proposal writing, presentations, technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Capacity to serve as a dedicated client service partner, exhibiting responsiveness, clear communication, quality delivery, mindful listening, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and advocating within the team.
