Job Description:
As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and driving the strategic growth of our Perth office. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of environmental consultancy projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled environmental consultants, ensuring high performance and growth.
Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of environmental consultancy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the Perth office, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Perth office, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Compliance: Ensure all projects and operations comply with relevant environmental regulations and industry standards.
Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality in service delivery and implement best practices to continually improve our processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting (engineering or environmental), infrastructure, and mining.
- Demonstrated history of sustainably building and developing technical teams.
- Demonstrated history of winning revenue in the WA market.
- Local experience in Western Australia (WA).
