About the Role
An established engineering consultancy focused on water infrastructure is growing its team in the Bay Area and looking to bring on a mid level engineer.
This is a strong opportunity to step into a role where you will have real ownership across project delivery while continuing to build technical depth. You will work closely with experienced engineers on meaningful infrastructure projects that support essential public systems.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a hands on role across multiple projects, contributing both technically and from a delivery perspective:
* Support planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects
* Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
* Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
* Develop reports and technical documentation to support design and decision making
* Participate in coordination during construction phases, including responding to field related questions
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects move forward effectively
* Provide guidance to junior staff or assist with task level coordination as needed
Types of Projects You'll Work On
Projects will span a variety of infrastructure and planning efforts, such as:
* Treatment facilities and process upgrades
* Conveyance systems including pipelines and pump stations
* Storage and distribution assets
* Groundwater related infrastructure
* System planning or capacity improvement projects
What They Are Looking For
Required
* Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
* Approximately 6 to 12 years of industry experience
* Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure projects
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
Preferred
* Professional Engineer license in California or ability to obtain
* Exposure to both design and construction phases of projects
* Experience with project coordination, including schedule and quality expectations
