About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Technical Expert to join our client's business and provide strategic and technical leadership in managing water infrastructure assets. This role is critical in ensuring the long-term sustainability, reliability, and efficiency of water networks and facilities through best-practice asset management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with industry standards and organizational objectives.
- Conduct lifecycle analysis, risk assessments, and condition monitoring for water infrastructure assets.
- Provide technical expertise in asset performance optimization, renewal planning, and capital investment prioritization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
- Utilize data analytics and asset management systems to support decision-making and improve asset reliability.
- Prepare technical reports, business cases, and recommendations for asset-related projects.
- Mentor and support internal teams on asset management frameworks and tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in asset management within the water industry.
- Strong knowledge of water infrastructure systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and distribution networks.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and contemporary asset management practices.
- Proficiency in asset management software and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills
- Postgraduate qualifications in Asset Management or related field.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives within asset management.
- Understanding of sustainability principles and climate resilience in water infrastructure.
