Field Service Engineer - Food & Beverage Division

Location: Regional (must reside within assigned territory)
Reports To: Division Lead
Travel: Local focus with occasional regional trips
Start Date: January (high priority)


Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical service and maintenance support for food and beverage clients, focusing on water treatment, sanitation, and cleaning systems. Each FSE will manage 10-12 accounts in their territory, working closely with local sales teams to evaluate systems, recommend solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site evaluations of water treatment and sanitation systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as boilers, chillers, chemical feed systems, and Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify opportunities and implement solutions
  • Maintain safety metrics to qualify for bonus incentives

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in food & beverage manufacturing or related industries (mandatory)
  • Background in maintenance, sanitation, and water treatment systems
  • Familiarity with chemical feed systems, CIP processes, and hygiene protocols
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to work independently

Compensation

  • Base salary + 10% bonus (based on safety metrics)
  • Target Total Compensation: $99K (flexible up to $110K for strong candidates)
  • No overtime included
