Head of CMT Division
We are seeking a Division Manager to lead the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) group, overseeing field and laboratory services related to earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and foundation systems. This leadership role focuses on operational management, technical quality, and business development. You will supervise project managers, technicians, and lab staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for field and lab testing services (soil, concrete, asphalt, deep foundations, superstructures)
- Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation for efficient project delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, ASTM, ACI, and other standards
- Maintain division workflow, safety, and quality systems
- Oversee financial performance, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cost control
- Hire, train, and mentor staff; set performance goals and support certifications
- Serve as primary client contact for CMT projects; manage proposals, scopes, and reports
- Review and approve test results and enforce QA/QC standards
- Support strategic planning and business development initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in construction materials testing or related field
- Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage budgets, financial forecasts, and operational metrics
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills

- Professional certifications in construction materials testing or engineering
