About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Flood Engineer to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will take the lead on delivering high-quality flood studies, management plans, and risk assessments for a range of land development projects. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape sustainable solutions and guide project success. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed flood studies and risk assessments for development proposals.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing your technical knowledge.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and maintain quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or similar).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in flood management and stormwater engineering.
- Proven ability to prepare and review flood studies and management plans.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrological modelling software (e.g., TUFLOW, RORB/WBNM, HEC‑RAS, DRAINS, 12D) and GIS tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
