Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Tallahassee area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex civil and mechanical construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Manage crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including trench safety and OSHA regulations.
- Oversee installation of piping, pumping systems, storage tanks, and process equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections and quality control checks.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and client representatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in water/wastewater construction.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, chemical feed systems, and treatment plant processes.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- OSHA 10 and Competent Person Training preferred.
