Construction Project Executive
We are working with a leading construction firm to appoint a senior Project Executive to lead complex construction programmes from early engagement through completion. This role sits at the centre of client delivery, acting as the primary liaison between the client and Kajima, with full accountability for programme, quality and financial outcomes.
The role
You will provide end‑to‑end leadership across multiple projects, overseeing preconstruction, design and construction operations. The position operates across both Design/Build and General Contracting projects and carries responsibility for building strong, credible client relationships while driving consistent commercial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all phases of project delivery, from early design and estimating through construction and close‑out
- Establishing and maintaining master project schedules, including decision gates, procurement and long‑lead items
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring alignment on scope, programme and financial expectations
- Delivering projects in full compliance with contract documents and agreed commercial targets
- Setting and maintaining company quality standards across all phases of delivery
- Leading, developing and coordinating project teams across preconstruction, design and construction
- Ensuring compliance with safety, insurance, labour relations and equal employment requirements
- Overseeing applications for payment, cash flow and disbursement of funds
- Providing clear reporting on project progress, financial performance and client relationships
- Supporting business development by taking project leads through to successful award and execution
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum of 15 years' experience delivering Design/Build construction projects
- Strong background in building construction and interiors
- Deep knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles
- Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams
- Well‑developed communication and client‑facing skills
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels, with a strong track record of managing complex client relationships and large project teams.
