Electrical Project Engineer
A leading electrical contractor with operations across New York & New Jersey is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage electrical BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and plumbing teams to resolve clashes and support project delivery.
- Produce installation and shop drawings for electrical systems.
- Attend coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
- Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and system sizing.
- Conduct site visits to verify conditions and support project documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and applicable codes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, BIM coordination, or project engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, and design coordination.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional project teams.
Ideal Background: Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data centre construction projects.
Compensation Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Other Compensation: Position is bonus eligible
