Senior Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Portland, Oregon
Salary: $140,000- $180,000 + Bonus(s)
A well-established general contractor in the Portland area is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a company known for its commitment to safety, quality, and long-term client relationships.
Position Highlights
The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex scopes and teams effectively.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction
- Proven success managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Experience with DOT, municipal, or federal infrastructure projects
- Strong background in earthwork, utilities, concrete, and structural scopes
- Familiarity with project management tools such as P6, HCSS, and Procore
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- PMP or CCM certification is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
