Key Responsibilities
- Install, startup, test, and troubleshoot BMS/DDC control systems supporting mechanical equipment and facility operations.
- Commission and validate EPMS graphics, monitoring platforms, and associated electrical infrastructure systems.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure systems are installed, configured, and operating according to project requirements.
- Provide routine project updates and communicate progress, issues, and solutions to project leadership.
- Interface directly with customers, subcontractors, and onsite personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, testing records, and closeout packages.
- Develop and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) and Change Management (CM) documentation.
- Perform pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing for both BMS and EPMS installations.
- Participate in commissioning activities alongside third-party commissioning providers and customer representatives.
- Conduct service, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities on existing operational systems.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously across various locations throughout the United States.
- Adhere to all customer security requirements and site-specific procedures.
- Deliver a high level of customer service while representing the organization in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical apprenticeship, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in building automation, controls, commissioning, or related automation technologies.
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and third-party system integrations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and controls applications.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, networking fundamentals, and connected control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support project activities nationwide.
