We are partnering with a highly respected, fully integrated construction management and development firm known for delivering complex projects to exceptional standards. Role Overview

As Healthcare Project Manager, you will take full ownership of healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as a key point of coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and project owners-ensuring a seamless and positive experience across the entire project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Take full responsibility for end-to-end project management across multiple, concurrent healthcare construction initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and wider project team to ensure unified execution.
  • Oversee project financials, reporting, and budget control.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate contract documentation.
  • Develop construction schedules in collaboration with Superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, approvals, and performance.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead regular owner, subcontractor, and preconstruction meetings.
  • Facilitate issue resolution to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.
  • Direct the Owner Change Order Request process and subcontractor change orders.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

  • Support and execute site-based quality control and safety programs.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to site-specific safety plans.
  • Oversee Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), administrative logs, and project close‑out documentation.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a small project team, promoting a culture aligned with the client's values of leadership, integrity, and accountability.
  • Contribute to the organisation's safety and health management system through proactive engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of general contracting experience, ideally within healthcare construction.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, construction means and methods, accounting, and industry best practices.
  • Experience ranging from healthcare renovations within active hospitals to large ground‑up healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare design and code standards.
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)
    • LEED
    • ICRA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Experience using scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Previous team management experience advantageous.
  • Ability to travel periodically as required.
