Role Overview:

As Safety Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our safety culture, ensuring that all field operations meet or exceed regulatory and internal safety standards. You'll work closely with project teams, superintendents, and leadership to implement proactive safety strategies across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to field personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into planning and execution.
  • Track and report safety metrics and trends to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of safety experience in heavy civil, geotechnical, or foundation construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • CSP, CHST, or other safety certifications (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel across New England.
