Join a Growing Survey Team
We are seeking motivated surveying professionals to join our team in a variety of capacities, ranging from Survey CAD Technicians and Survey Project Coordinators to Survey Project Managers. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including unlicensed survey professionals, LSITs, and Professional Land Surveyors (PLSs).
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, utility surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys while collaborating with both field and office teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review survey plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
- Process field data collected by survey crews and maintain project databases.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other industry software to create accurate survey drawings and exhibits.
- Coordinate with field personnel, clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Support or manage survey projects from kickoff through final delivery.
- Perform courthouse, deed, plat, and title research as needed.
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and client communication.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Support boundary analysis, topographic mapping, construction layout, and utility coordination efforts.
- Participate in occasional field work and site visits when required.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the survey department through collaboration and technical excellence.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in land surveying, geomatics, survey drafting, project coordination, or project management.
- LSIT certification or PLS license is a plus, but not required.
- Strong understanding of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble Business Center (TBC), MicroStation, OpenRoads, or similar software.
- Ability to interpret deeds, plats, easements, legal descriptions, and survey records.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships is highly valued for senior-level candidates.
