Wind Construction Manager m/w/d
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all construction activities for onshore wind projects through execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage civil works, including roads, crane pads, foundations, and site infrastructure.
- Oversee electrical balance of plant (eBOP), collection grids, substations, and grid connection works.
- Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, OEMs, consultants, and grid operators.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and contractor performance.
- Manage change orders, variations, and construction-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support turbine delivery, installation, commissioning, testing, and energisation activities.
- Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering onshore wind construction projects.
- Strong experience within the German wind market.
- Proven background in construction management, site management, or wind project delivery.
- Experience managing civil works, electrical infrastructure, substations, and grid connections.
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Germany.
