The Commissioning Field Specialist I will be responsible for:
- Performing on-site commissioning activities, including inspection, validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
- Directing vendors and contractors during testing and startup activities
- Developing commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test scripts
- Reviewing design documents, drawings, and specifications to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Preparing accurate documentation, including progress reports, test logs, and final commissioning reports
The Commissioning Field Specialist I should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum five years of experience with installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and/or electrical infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls system principles
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the U.S.; must live near a major airport
- NFPA 70E and OSHA certifications (or ability to obtain)
