We're partnering with a nationally recognized engineering consultancy that specializes exclusively in mission-critical and data center facilities. Due to continued growth, they're seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a fully remote team delivering some of the most sophisticated and high-profile projects in North America.
This is an opportunity to step into the rapidly expanding data center sector, work alongside industry experts, and accelerate your technical and professional growth. Prior data center experience is not required. If you have a strong MEP consulting background and are fluent in Revit, you'll receive the support and mentorship necessary to succeed in the mission-critical space.
What You'll Do
- Design electrical systems for cutting-edge mission-critical and data center facilities
- Develop construction documents using Revit and BIM workflows
- Perform power distribution, load, fault current, and coordination calculations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects across the United States
- Support the design of electrical infrastructure including:
- Switchgear
- UPS systems
- Emergency power systems
- Standby generators
- Medium- and low-voltage distribution
- Participate in design reviews, quality assurance, and client meetings
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Contribute to innovative solutions that prioritize reliability, redundancy, and scalability
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in MEP consulting engineering
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, higher education, industrial, mission-critical, or other complex building types
- Knowledge of NEC and industry design standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive within a remote, high-performance engineering team
- EIT or PE preferred, but not required
