About the Role
We're looking for a motivated, solutions‑oriented sales professional to help businesses navigate energy procurement, market volatility, and sustainability goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hunting-focused environment and enjoys building long‑term client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new commercial clients through prospecting, cold outreach, and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure renewals and long-term satisfaction
- Conduct consultative meetings to understand client needs and risk tolerance
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to senior decision-makers
- Negotiate contracts and close opportunities to meet revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to support clients and align sales strategy
- Manage pipeline, accounts, and forecasting in a CRM (HubSpot or similar)
- Stay current on market trends and energy industry developments
What You Bring
- 3+ years in the energy industry (electricity, natural gas, solar, sustainability, DR, etc.) or a transferable B2B field
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience
- Strong prospecting skills and comfort in a hunting-focused role
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- High level of drive, resilience, and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000-$175,000+ (depending on experience)
- Commission: Uncapped earning potential; top performers exceed base significantly
