A globally recognized engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join its growing fire and life safety practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on landmark projects across commercial, healthcare, government, institutional, and mixed-use sectors while collaborating with architects, developers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The successful candidate will help develop innovative, performance-based fire and life safety solutions while contributing to projects ranging from early fire strategy development through final design and construction support.
The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for…
- Performing fire and life safety code consulting and compliance reviews.
- Conducting dynamic egress modeling and evacuation analysis.
- Developing structural fire engineering calculations.
- Supporting performance-based fire protection design strategies.
The Fire Protection Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of Fire Protection Engineering experience.
- Experience communicating technical findings to clients, owners, and design teams.
- Experience with FDS, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, fire modeling, smoke control, and life safety analysis preferred.
