K-12 Project Architect

An award-winning, nationally recognized architecture firm with decades of experience in educational facility design is expanding its K-12 portfolio and is hiring a Project Architect to join its teams in San Francisco and Sacramento.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality construction documents in compliance with company standards.
  • Report to the Project Manager and collaborate closely on project delivery.
  • Participate in all phases of design: schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with consultants, agencies, and utility companies to resolve plan check and approval issues.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
  • Organize and direct production teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior staff and oversee technical assignments.
  • Assist in establishing project budgets, schedules, and work plans with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • CA Licensed Architect (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in educational or public sector projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and permitting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $89,800 - $134,800 annually, commensurate with experience.
