K-12 Project Architect
An award-winning, nationally recognized architecture firm with decades of experience in educational facility design is expanding its K-12 portfolio and is hiring a Project Architect to join its teams in San Francisco and Sacramento.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality construction documents in compliance with company standards.
- Report to the Project Manager and collaborate closely on project delivery.
- Participate in all phases of design: schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with consultants, agencies, and utility companies to resolve plan check and approval issues.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
- Organize and direct production teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee technical assignments.
- Assist in establishing project budgets, schedules, and work plans with the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- CA Licensed Architect (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in educational or public sector projects.
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building codes and permitting processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $89,800 - $134,800 annually, commensurate with experience.
