An established Florida general contractor with a reputation for delivering high-profile hospitality, education, industrial and commercial projects is looking for a Lead Superintendent in the Tampa area. Key responsibilities of the Lead Superintendent | Warehouse Construction include:
- Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and recovery plans when necessary.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel.
- Conduct daily planning meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain project budgets and schedule milestones.
Key requirements of the Lead Superintendent | Warehouse Construction include:
- 8+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
- Proven experience leading ground-up industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics projects.
- Experience managing projects valued at $20M-$100M+.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large field teams.
- Strong understanding of concrete tilt-wall, precast, structural steel, sitework, and industrial building systems.
